Am I back?

My last post was on January 4th, where I shared a “review on wahala.” Since then, I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus. You might be wondering what I’ve been up to for the past seven months. I'm glad to explain everything in subsequent posts, but for now, here’s a summary: I’ve been experiencing life.

Now, this might sound like I’ve been having fun the entire time, but that’s not the case. By “experiencing life,” I mean transitioning fully from adolescence to adulthood. Have I been successful in this regard? Honestly, no, I haven’t.

I haven’t been able to fully engage with 50% of the world around me, but I have embraced both the joys and challenges that have come my way. There have been plenty of challenges, but it’s all part of the process. Overall, I’m happy and grateful for the journey so far. The experiences, happiness, and lessons learned have been dear to me.

So, am I back?

Yes, I am. I’m back for good. I can’t promise that I won’t have a relapse, but I hope not to. I have a lot of things to share: poems, book reviews, and great articles. I can’t hoard all these beautiful things to myself and not think about my community and the joy it brings to every member and myself. So, I’ll do my best to stick to it from now on.

I’d love to post twice a month from now on since I’ve been tasked with writing every day. Hopefully, I’ll stick to it, and you’ll be happy with the lovely creatives I come up with and share.
